Description

Austrian Winter Peas are a commonly planted cool season annual legume with good cold tolerance. It is an excellent soil builder, as well as a high protein hay or forage for livestock and deer.   Broadcast 40-50 lbs/acre, or drill 30 lbs/acre.  Planting depth is ½-1″.  Plant from Sept-Nov.  Widely adapted; best in well-drained soils. Approximately 3,500 seed/lb.  60 lbs/bushel.  Purple flowers.  Non-GMO
