Sunn Hemp (Crotalaria juncea L.) is a warm season tropical legume. It is used primarily as a cover crop for green manure, organic soil building and nitrogen fixing. Sunn hemp is fast growing in the warm season producing large amounts of biomass until the first frost. Plant after last frost 1/2″-1″ deep at 15-20 lbs/acre drilled or 25-30 lbs/acre broadcast.
