Pensacola Bahiagrass is commonly found throughout the South, preferring slightly acidic, lighter textured soils. Grown extensively for pasture as both hay and forage, and can also be used for turf. Seed is coated, broadcast 2 – 3 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. or 100 – 150 lbs. per acre at ¼-½ inch deep in Apr-July. Prefers lighter soils with pH 6.0-6.5. Deep-rooted perennial; forms dense tough sod. Used for forage and hay. Non-GMO
